About me

Hi! My name is Mauricio, and I am a 2D Artist based in Barcelona.

My goal of being an artist led me to graduate from L’Idem Animation School with a specialization in hand-drawn animation and storyboard back in 2021. Since then, I have worked in multiple productions in the animation industry, such as Robot Dreams, Roni, Blue’s Clues Big City Adventure. I have also worked in other related areas, including commission painting, 2dFX, motion graphics, and teaching art fundamentals.

Currently, I live in Castelldefels, and I work as an Art director for an upcoming short film while I develop my comic book project “Ally” in my free time.

Querer vivir del arte me llevó a graduarme en la escuela de animación L’Idem, especializándome en Animación 2D y storyboard en 2021. Desde entonces, he trabajado en múltiples producciones en la industria de la animación, como Robot Dreams, Roni y Blue’s Clues: Big City Adventure. También he trabajado en otros campos relacionados, como pintura por encargo, 2DFX, motion graphics y enseñando fundamentos del dibujo.

Actualmente vivo en Castelldefels, y trabajo como director de arte para un cortometraje mientras desarrollo mi proyecto de cómic "Ally" en mi tiempo libre.
