Hero of Time - Animated short film (TBA)

Anime short film inspired by the videogame The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

This is an independent project that aims to faithfully adapt the style of the 1998 game to a modern anime aesthetic. I was originally hired as a storyboard artist to create the animatics. After this phase was completed, and the team of artists expanded, I returned, this time as art director and animator.

My responsibilities on this project included developing the entire artistic side of the short, from the first draft to FX and compositing; designing characters, props, animation and creating backgrounds. In addition, I have constantly supervised, providing feedback and corrections to a team of more than 30 artists from around the world to maintain a consistent style and a professional result across more than 80 characters and nearly 100 backgrounds.

The project is currently in production. The release date is yet to be announced.

Cortometraje anime, inspirado en The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Este es un proyecto independiente que pretende adaptar fielmente el estilo del juego de 1998 a una estética anime moderna. Originalmente fui contratado como artista de storyboard para realizar la animática. Al terminar esta fase, y ampliarse el equipo de artistas, volví a entrar, esta vez como director de arte y animador.

Mis responsabilidades en este han consistido en desarrollar todo el apartado artístico del corto desde el primer borrador hasta los retoques de FX y compositing; diseñar personajes, props, animar, y crear fondos. Además de esto, he estado supervisando constantemente y dando el feedback y correcciones necesarias a un equipo de más de 30 artistas de todo el mundo para mantener un estilo consistente y un resultado profesional en más de 80 personajes y cerca de 100 fondos.

Actualmente el proyecto se encuentra en producción. La fecha de estreno está por anunciar aún.
